Founded by Cory Bates, Level Earth brings over 14 years of expertise in precision grading to the Verde Valley and Northern Arizona. Cory’s passion for setting solid foundations through precision grading and his extensive background in heavy equipment inspired him to establish Level Earth. Based in the beautiful Verde Valley of Arizona, Level Earth is centrally located in the state. While operations focus on Northern Arizona, the central location does allow for travel to the Phoenix valley.
We specialize in a wide range of services, including site preparation for building pads, driveways, and parking lots, as well as flood irrigation and water diversion solutions. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality results that meet the unique needs of each project. Cory Bates is not only the founder but also the lead operator of Level Earth. With a passion for precision grading and a dedication to quality, Cory brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every project.
Starting as a heavy equipment mechanic and progressing to selling equipment, Cory developed a deep appreciation for the niche of grading, particularly precision grading. With a belief that precision is paramount in successful construction projects, Cory transitioned from selling grading attachments to personally operating equipment for Level Earth.
From pole barn pads to horse arenas, Cory’s storied history in heavy equipment and precision grading sets Level Earth apart in the industry.

Level Earth laid the groundwork for our paver crew’s driveway project in Sedona. He set up lasers to make a perfect grade and slope for a smooth and well draining driveway. The homeowner is thrilled with the result and his quick work of the grading prep allowed us to finish the job ahead of schedule.
